Therefore, when offering services, we are obliged to act following the laws and regulations defining the protection of personal data, in particular in accordance with the applicable Personal Data Protection Act, the Electronic Communications Act, and the EU General Data Protection Regulation. Optimizator, d.o.o. undertakes to collect the personal data, that you provide at the time of registration or when ordering (obtaining a subscriber username) or we will obtain it from you because you have visited our website, will be used in accordance with this document. Each time you visit the CostWolf.com website, a log file is automatically stored on the webserver (e.g. IP address - a number that identifies an individual computer or other devices on the web, browser version, time of visit, name of the previous page). We process this data to monitor the operation and manage statistics of visits to our website, to examine the interest of users, and to protect the network. Optimizator, d.o.o. will answer your question or ask you for further clarification on the e-mail address given in the contact form. If you also provide a phone number, Optimizator, d.o.o. will call you only to give an answer to the question sent or for further clarifications.
Optimizator, d.o.o. may, within the scope of its authority, disclose your personal data to the following data users:
- postal service providers, dispatch service providers, file and data destruction service providers;
- information technology service providers in the field of software servicing and maintenance;
- financial services authority, other institutions that have a basis in law.
Optimizator, d.o.o. as a controller, may also pass on the collected personal data to its contractual processors, who process this data exclusively within the framework of the controller's instructions and authorizations concluded with the controller, obliged to ensure an adequate level of personal data protection.
Transmission of personal data
Optimizator, d.o.o. does not transfer personal data to third parties, third countries, or international organizations.
The exception is statistics on visits and usage of websites, for which we use Google Analytics. The data we provide is anonymized so that the operator of the analytical tool cannot identify the person to whom the data relates.
Retention period
We only store your data for as long it is necessary to fulfill the purpose for which the individual data were collected and further used, namely:
- webserver log files are stored for 12 months,
- all data related to business cooperation (contracts, purchase orders, event registrations) are kept for 5 years after the end of cooperation on the basis of a concluded contract or if there is a different legal storage period (e.g. accounting or tax data), the retention period is 10 years; during this time, data processing is limited,
- your contact information for direct marketing purposes is processed until your cancellation.
Data protection method
The controller will protect the obtained data in accordance with the applicable legislation on personal data protection and in accordance with its internal acts. It will provide adequate organizational and technical protection. Under no circumstances will the controller pass on or disclose the obtained data to third parties. The company Optimizator, d.o.o. implements appropriate technical and organizational measures for the protection of personal data.
After the end of the need for data management, i.e. after fulfilling the purpose for which the data were collected, the data are destroyed or deleted.
Your rights
According to the provision of Article 15 of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU), you have the right to request confirmation from us as to whether we are processing your personal data or not. If we process your personal data, you may request a printout of your personal data. We will provide you with a copy of your processed personal data. At the same time, we will provide you with the remaining information regarding the processing of your personal data or the relevant link to this information, namely the purpose of processing, the type of personal data, who are the users of your personal data, or the category of users, the intended retention of your personal data, period to request from us the correction or deletion of your personal data or the restriction of their use and the existence of the right to object to the processing of your personal data (for example regarding processing for direct marketing purposes or for certain decisions taken exclusively by automatic processing, including profiling) and the right to appeal to the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia. If we did not obtain your personal information from you, we will provide the source of your personal information.
If we have obtained your consent to the processing of your personal data, you have the right to withdraw this consent at any time without any negative consequences for you. However, if your consent to the processing of individual personal data is linked to the acquisition of a right or fulfillment of our service, in this case, you will lose the right or we will no longer be able to provide certain of our services (e.g. you prohibit the processing of your email address, we will not be able to send you news announcements about discounts or special offers). With regard to your request to restrict the processing of your personal data, you should be aware that in certain cases your rights may be limited when they are predominated by another or our legitimate interest.
